Prior to taking in Gear cells, Dion had short, light-pink hair, blue eyes, she was usually seen with a white shirt, black pants and blue sandals which nearly all were covered with a white lab coat. She typically kept the same appearance after getting older.After becoming part Gear, her hair grew longer, reached her waist and turned black, she discarded her other clothing for much more revealing one; a near-transulecent dark skin tight body suit that was covered with black-purple cloak and large skirt that covers her legs, both the skirt and cloak have thin golden armour, especially around her neck. Dion also wears thin golden heels, black nail paint, and circular accessories above her knee and around both wrists.Her top can barely be classified as a shirt, so it is merely a bra most covered by the aforementioned cloak. The Gear sigil is plastered on her midriff, but is concealed by her skirt.

Dion was a young scientist who studied and excelled in the inner workings of Magic in the 2014-2015, childlike wonder in her youth had caused an immediate interest in Magic due to it being similar to super powers seen in media. That interest ultimately led to wanting knowledge once college came... Although not making any breakthroughs in the theory of magical science, the woman was known to have "overdone" things, or rather be obsessed with her workβsometimes going as far as to ignore basic hygiene or proper nutrients, her colleagues often catching her awake late nights and early mornings.Despite this, however, Dion is a very calm and rationale woman, rarely relying on her emotions to resolve problems presented before her. She cares little for those unimportant to her if not interested in her goals or if they're especially skilled or adept with Magic.

Dion had assisted in the Ecosystem Evolution Project, assisting in much of the biological structure and advantages Gears provided, mainly interested in the regenerative factor and agelessness; this provoked a selfish request to have her create "superior Gear cells", this request was quickly turned down by Vince and eventually by Asuka. This greatly upset her, when expressing her dissatisfaction to her peers, they all shared the same thoughts as both Vince and Asuka, especially Frederick and Aria.
This eventually lead to her stealing samples of completed Gear cells in 2016, the same year in which Frederick was presumed dead with Asuka and Aria reported missing... And with other important members of the Gear project either "dead" or "missing", it was only natural Dion be presumed missing as well, thus beginning her independent research. Unfortunately this meant having to stay under wraps to not have many intervene in her work.In 2050, she finally completed the Gear cells she borrowed, although they weren't exceptionally superior, they excelled in regeneration compared to the average Gear... Unfortunately she had to sacrifice a small amount of the physical strength granted by the cells. However, she is only part-Gear, as turning her body completely would likely destroy her.Now that her goal was finally done, she was lost, not knowing what to do now that she's achieved her goal. Luckily she has more time than she ever has and is interested in the development of Magic, recently discovering the existence of Light magic, hed thoughts quickly transitioned to wonder if "Dark" Magic existed yet. And so, thus began Dion's second goal: creating or discovering Dark Magic.But that first required the learning of Light Magic which she did so in 2074, it (for this portrayal) required finding the "perfect balance" between the coding of each element as it had no physical or nonphysical form, but things became much harder in that year once Justice awakened. Where migraines became sudden and psychotic breakdowns were common; migraines soon turned into headaches which then turned into splitting ones that caused bloody eyes and bloody noses, constant fainting, eventually the Gear sigil was marked on her midriff the day Justice, the God of Destruction, took over the world that day. The only reason that she hadn't been fully controlled is due to her humanity, although being controlled seemed much more preferable over common episodes. It made things far too difficult.Seconds felt like hours, and hours felt like days to Dion, and days turned to years, unable to focus until 2180... The 2nd Selection Tournament for Holy Knights took place, the day Justice had died at the hands of Sol Badguy. Unbeknownst how much time passed, she temporarily came out of hiding to see how much the world progressed. Speaking with civilians above the current state of the world, along with outside news sources, she traveled to Illyria as the United States were slightly behind in the world in terms of Magic.Now she stays in an abandoned house nearby the kingdom in which she's freely able to conduct experiments.

Due to the nature of Gears/those with Gear cells, Dion is unable to age and has a regenerative factor due to being connected with The Backyard (although not to the extent Sol, Justice, and Dizzy are), she can regenerate from small wounds, gashes, and even fatal ones; however, she is still very much killable. She also has superior physical strength despite her buildSince Dion is adept with nearly all forms of Magic, she can use the wide arrange of elements present in the world of Guilty Gear at her disposal. Her main ability is to mirror ones actions; make an exact copy of anyone she analyzes and conjures a doppelganger to match their actions, although the only thing she is unable to mirror are weapons that enhance certain types of Magics.
